Everyone knows that the Ford F-150 is one of the best and strongest full-size pickups on the market. Its construction, engine, and workload capacity make it a rewarding, hardworking choice.

Body

It starts with the foundation. The 2020 F-150 uses high-strength, military-grade aluminum-alloy in its body, the only one in its class. Aluminum-alloy lets Ford increase the gauge where needed without adding to body weight. The lighter aluminum gives better performance, but is heat-treated to make it hard and strong.

With a fully boxed, high-strength steel frame, the new 2020 Ford F-150 is stronger than previous generations. It gives it more rigidness, but also has a lighter power-to-weight ratio. It is 60 pounds lighter than other frames, allowing the weight to go to payload and towing.

This strong construction makes the F-150 Raptor an off-roading machine.

Engine

Six engines provide the power level you need. The 3.0-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel gets strong pulling power with 440 lb-ft of torque while getting 30 mpg on the highway.* The 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine has the best torque of any gas or diesel competitor, which allows for the best-in-class 13,200 pounds of available towing. A 10-speed automatic transmission comes on every engine available.

Bed

With the naturally aspirated V8 engine with advanced twin independent variable cam timing you get best-in-class payload capacity. This means that the F-150 can haul up to 3,270 pounds when properly equipped with the Heavy-Duty Payload Package.

You can work smarter as well as harder. The bed features stowable loading ramps and an integrated tailgate step for easy loading. The flexible BoxLink™ system is reconfigurable for all kinds of loads. You can even unlock and lower the tailgate with remote release.

LED box lights allow you to work when the sun has gone down. Class-exclusive LED side-mirror spotlights let you point light to wherever you need it to get the job done.

Experience the strengths of the 2020 F-150 for yourself when you test-drive one here at Romeo Ford.
