Trim Levels

Four unique trim levels are available for the 2021 Escape: the S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. All four trims are also available in either a hybrid or a plug-in hybrid option, creating even more ways to customize your vehicle choice. The S has a body-color rear spoiler, configurable daytime running lamps, and dual-chrome exhaust tips. You get an upper black mesh chrome surround for the grille and an available roof rack and LED signature lighting with the SE.

Upgrading to the SEL adds a power liftgate, halogen fog lamps, and optional roof rack crossbars. The Titanium gets you a hands-free foot-activated liftgate and LED fog lamps.

Engine

You can get one of two engines for the 2021 Ford Escape. The first is a 1.5-liter engine that delivers up to 181 horsepower. The second is a 2.0-liter engine that offers automatic start/stop technology. This engine produces up to 250 horsepower. Each engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and offers excellent fuel efficiency. For a more environmentally-friendly option, Ford also offers two hybrid engine options in the Escape.

Performance
