The EcoSport is available in four trim levels: the S, SE, Titanium, and SES. Standard features offered with the S trim include a rear swing gate, power-adjustable mirrors, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and halogen headlights. The SE trim adds upgrades such as heated mirrors with turn-signal indicators, roof rails, and a power moonroof with a sunshade.

With the Titanium, you receive added conveniences such as roof rack side rails, fog lights, 17-inch premium dark stainless-painted machined aluminum wheels, LED signature lighting, and rain-sensing wipers. The sport-focused SES trim comes with 17-inch six-spoke black-painted aluminum wheels and a sport-tuned suspension.

You can choose between two engines with the EcoSport. The standard turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine produces 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque, while the available 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers a more spirited output of 166 horsepower and 149 pound-feet of torque. Both engines pair with a six-speed automatic transmission system. Except for the SES, which comes standard with a four-wheel-drive system, all trims feature a standard front-wheel-drive system. You can opt for an available four-wheel-drive system, too.

The available Intelligent 4WD system will provide you with added traction and more control when you're driving through inclement weather or over rough terrain. For an even more superior performance and a sporty drive, opt for the SES trim. It's equipped with the 2.0-liter engine and a sport-tuned suspension, which will help you maintain control around curves. The EcoSport offers respectable fuel efficiency, rated at 27 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway with the 1.0-liter engine, and 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway with the 2.0-liter engine.

Despite its smaller size, the EcoSport provides comfortable and spacious seating for up to five passengers. In addition, the SUV also boasts above-average cargo capacity. There's 20.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, and with the rear seats down, you get a maximum cargo area of 50 cubic feet. To help you with organizing your cargo, opt for the available cargo management system, which comes with an adjustable rear shelf and floor.

The base trim offers basic amenities, such as Ford's Sync infotainment system with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot and a 4.2-inch display. You also get air conditioning and cloth upholstery. If you upgrade to the SE trim, your EcoSport will be equipped with the Sync 3 system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an 8-inch display, and SiriusXM. Other added features offered with this trim are electronic climate control, heated front seats, intelligent access with push-button start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

The EcoSport provides features such as hill-start assist, AdvanceTrac with stability control, a rearview camera, and an emergency brake system as standard safety gear. You can also opt for available driver-assist features such as blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic control and a reverse-sensing system.
