With an all-new design, the 2020 Ford Escape is set to be on the best crossovers in its segment. It comes with a versatile interior, a wide range of powertrain options, and advanced technology.

The Ford Escape is available in five trim levels: S, SE, SE Sport Hybrid, SEL, and Titanium.

Interior Design

Take a seat inside the Escape and you will be surrounded by a premium, sophisticated cabin. The center console is opened up with the use of a rotary gear shift. This also allows for more front-row space. You can give the Escape an upscale feel with premium features. The available Panoramic Vista Roof® comes with a large tilting forward panel and a fixed rear skylight.

The rear seats come with a new sliding feature so passengers can enjoy best-in-class second-row legroom. Or, you can slide the seat forward to maximize cargo space. With the seats pushed forward, the Escape offers 37.5 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold the seats down and this grows to 65.4 cubic feet.

Engine Options

The Escape gives you lots of options to choose from, including three powertrain combinations. The standard engine is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost® with automatic Start-Stop Technology to help enhance fuel economy. For more power, choose the available 2.0-liter EcoBoost®, also with Start-Stop Technology. When properly equipped, this engine can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

If you choose the Escape Hybrid model, it is powered by a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-Cycle engine and an 88- kilowatt electric motor. The lithium-ion battery is stored below the second-row floor, so it does not hinder cargo space.

Technology

You can stay connected and in control with all of the technology features in the Escape. It comes standard with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite of advanced driver-assist technologies like Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.

Other technology features, like the available SYNC® 3 system and FordPass Connect™ keep you connected to the people and things you love.
